A reputable radio station in Washington is seeking an experienced Radio Technician to join our team As a Radio Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all radio equipment and ensuring smooth transmission of audio signals This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and audio equipment to join our dynamic team Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair radio equipment including transmitters receivers antennas and other technical components Conduct routine maintenance checks on all radio equipment to ensure proper functioning Coordinate with other staff members to schedule repairs and maintenance during offair hours Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on the equipment Stay up to date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the engineering department Requirements High school diploma or equivalent technical degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radio Technician or similar role Knowledge of radio equipment including transmitters receivers antennas and other technical components Familiarity with FCC regulations and compliance standards for broadcasting equipment Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform repairs in a timely manner Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with other staff members Salary We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position Benefits In addition to salary we also offer accommodation for our employees Visa sponsorship may also be provided for the right candidate Location This job is located in Washington DC However we are open to considering applicants from other locations within the United States Equal Opportunity We welcome applications from all nationalities We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity and equal opportunity We encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply for this position #J-18808-Ljbffr LuxGuard Solutions
